Blooming Robotics is a team of 6 enthusiastic students from the TU Delft, dedicating their time to develop robots. We combine skills from all disciplines and together we form a strong and efficient team.
Tobias is responsible for the overall assembly and designed the electronics casings and conveyor belt suspension, amongst more. Together with Daan, he has the main responsibility for building the robot. He keeps the team positive with his versatile taste of music.
Tim is in charge of making sure our robot doesn’t crash. Slowly but steadily he is teaching the robot which obstacles to avoid and how to move around them. He also created the waypoint following software.
The Designer. Matthijs makes sure there are visuals to communicate with clients and brainstorms about how our robot will interact with people.
Dirk den Hoedt
Where Tim teaches the robot to see obstacles, Dirk enabled the robot to use GPS and know its orientation with respect to the environment. This way, the robot know which way to steer to get to the right location.
Eva created the entire electronics circuit. She designed and built the PCB that connects all electronical components. She equipped the robot with some technical gems, like the battery management system.
Daan van der Lans
The SolidWorks WizKid. Daan creates the most complicated and beautiful parts in Solidworks. He designed for example the catching arms, the docking system and the hulls that are printed by 3D-robotprinting.
